CIRA EP

The CIRA EP electrolytic water purifier uses patent pending CIRA technology for electrolytic ion removal and regeneration. The applied electric field enhances the removal of ionic contamination and continuously regenerates the ion exchange materials. Maintaining the ion exchange materials in the fully regenerated form improves ion removal efficiency. The CIRA EP uses homogeneous and composite ion exchange materials for improved removal of weakly ionized species such as carbonate and silica. As a result of this process, the ionically pure product water from the CIRA EP is consistent, regardless of changes in the feed water quality. The CIRA EP is designed to be used with the Dionex Reagent- Free™ Ion Chromatography (RFIC) system and can provide ionically pure water for dual channel IC systems. When used with the Trovion iWP system, the CIRA EP deliveries ionically pure water for both electrolytic eluent generation and suppression. For more information on the Trovion iWP system, click here.
